Grace, Gender, and Sexuality

Join us as we explore gender and sexuality in the context of generous hospitality and Christian faith. We will learn about the broad spectrum of gender, identity, and sexuality.  We will discover how we can be a more graciously welcoming and supportive as Christian community. We will look at language and ways to be respectful; hear about the experiences of LGBTQ+ individuals  and their courageous witness of faith; and friends will share personal spiritual stories.  We welcome to the series a variety of presenters from PFlag Toronto, Generous Spaces Toronto, and LGBTQ+ members from the Anglican Community.

Tuesday, June 4 – Gender & Terminology
We will explore the fluidity and broad spectrum of gender identity.  We will also discuss the use of pronouns, how to reference one another with grace and respect.  Anne Creighton will guide us through the most current information about sexuality, gender and terminology.
