One hundred years ago this fall, a massive flu pandemic – often called “The Spanish Flu” swept the globe. Learn about this world-changing event, its impacts on the lives of Canadians – especially Torontonians – and contemporary epidemics, such as the AIDS and SARS crises at this free exhibit presented in collaboration with Defining Moments Canada.

Members of Grace Anglican Church, Markham, have put together an interactive ebook about the Spanish Flu. You can find it here: Spanish Flu Epidemic 1918 – 1919: “Stepping Out With the Spanish Lady”. This book was designed for students, but others will enjoy it too.
