Doors Open 2023 was fantastic! Thank you to all who joined us!
Wow! What a fantastic weekend! We had over 5000 people through our open doors here and at the cemetery. What a wonderful sign to the city and the world that we are here! People had tours, heard (and were, as always, intrigued) by the wonders of the organ, pulled ropes on bells in the tower, enjoyed a quiet moment or two, and were warmly, enthusiastically, and graciously welcomed to our ‘home’.
Thanks seems so inadequate, but is fervently offered by all of us to our magnificent volunteers, guides, and friends, and particularly to Robert Gilbert, our ‘Doors Open’ coordinator!
Thank you as well to the Cathedral staff who worked tirelessly to ensure the Cathedral and Cemetery were ready to become a hive of activity and wonder.
