Our Calling as Stewards

At St. James Cathedral, we are mindful of our role as stewards of God’s creation. We feel called to respond to the love of God in Jesus Christ by giving our time, our talents and our treasure as generously as we are able.

As a community, we support our church, our diocese and our world:

• We give to our Cathedral to enable its continuing ministry and mission in the heart of Toronto – offering a place of prayer, hospitality and fellowship.
• We give to Faithworks to support programs across the Anglican Diocese of Toronto – providing shelter for the homeless, support for refugees, and care for young people in need.
• We give to the Primate’s World Relief and Development Fund to send aid across Canada and around the world – responding to humanitarian emergencies and working for reconciliation with Indigenous Peoples.

Each year at vestry we reaffirm our calling to stewardship and recommit ourselves to lives of boundless generosity.
