Doors Open 2024 (May 25 & 26) Invitation + call for volunteers

⛪ Doors Open is returning once again to St. James Cathedral and St. James Cemetery this May 25 and 26!

👏🏼 We are looking forward to welcoming thousands of visitors over the weekend to learn more about us, our community, and the history contained within both the Cathedral and Cemetery.

🌳 Self-guided and guided tours at both sites and at the Cathedral, there will be demonstrations of the Cathedral’s new organ and the chance to take a tour up the Bell Tower. We hope to see you this year for Doors Open!

Saturday, May 25: 10:00am – 5:00pm
Sunday, May 26: 1:00pm – 4:00pm

Call for Volunteers!

As always, volunteers from the Cathedral community are instrumental in making Doors Open an ongoing success at St. James, helping visitors feel welcome, sharing information about the Cathedral and the community, and providing a friendly and inviting presence throughout the Cathedral and St. James Cemetery.

If you are interested in volunteering this year for Doors Open this information is for you:

Volunteers receive all the information and training they need before the Doors Open weekend.

The session date and time will be announced soon. Stay tuned.

Please let us know when you would be able to help and if you wish to volunteer at either the Cathedral, Cemetery, or both.
