Holiday Hours

Online Morning Prayer at 8:30am will stop on Tuesday, December 24, and resume on Thursday, January 2, 2025 via the Cathedral YouTube channel..

Holy Eucharist at 12:15pm will stop on Tuesday, December 24, and resume on Friday, December 27 in the Cathedral – St. George’s Chapel.

Cathedral Centre will be closed from December 24 at 3:00pm until January 1. Regular hours will resume on January 2.

 The Cathedral will be closed on December 26 and re-open on December 27 for regular services.

The Drop-In will be celebrating New Year on Friday, December 27 at 1:00pm.

The regular schedule resumes on January 2, 2025.

We are all so blessed in God’s economy and have the joyous opportunity of sharing our blessings with others.

Please make a special end-of-year gift in four different ways:

E-Transfer: to gifts@stjamescathedral.ca If you require a tax receipt, please provide name and address in the message. Tax receipts will be issued for gifts of $20 or more in 2025.

Online here

In-person: Drop off an offering to the secure mailbox which is mounted in the Church Street vestibule at the entrance of the doors at 65 Church Street. Please make donations by December 31 to receive a tax receipt for 2024.

We appreciate all donations received by December 31, 2024. Those who donated received a tax receipt for 2025.

St. James Cemetery:

Pre-planning services/Plots available.
On December 25, 26, and January 1: The Cemetery office will be closed.
The Cemetery Gates hours stay the same from 8:00am to 5:00pm, seven days a week.
