Seeking Temporary Housing for a Refugee Family; Single Mother and Young Son

We have secured temporary housing for our new refugee family – a mother and her young son from Cameroon – however, circumstances have changed, and we are now looking for a short-term, furnished or unfurnished, suite/apartment from the middle of August until a unit becomes available at a non-profit housing building. (Unfortunately, we do not know when that will be.)

During that time, committee members will be providing a high level of support and readily available to deal with any concerns the host/landlord may have.

If you have, or know of, a centrally located suite/apartment that is available this summer/fall, please speak to Kate Merriman, 416-656-7917, or one of the clergy, or contact the sponsorship team at StJamesTorontoRefugee@gmail.com or 416-364-7865, ext. *801.

Thank you for your ongoing support and your prayerful consideration of this request.
