At St. James Cathedral, our clergy oversee pastoral care, a ministry of compassion to those in need rooted in the teaching and example of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Pastoral care at St. James is a diverse ministry provided largely by the Cathedral Clergy.

In recent years, this ministry has grown to include trained volunteer lay persons in activities that help maintain meaningful connections with members who are unable to participate in parish life because of illness or other concerns.
Lay Pastoral Visiting
Active members of the Cathedral Community provide a continuing association with those members who are unable to participate in the services and activities of the Cathedral.
