Saturday, October 5 at 10:30am: Blessing of the Animals 2024

The neighbourhood favourite is back on Saturday, October 5 at 10:30am:

Join us on the Cathedral’s West Lawn as we celebrate the feast day of St. Francis of Assisi by taking part in a special service for pets and their friends and family.

*In case of rain, the service will be held in the Cathedral.

At the conclusion of the Blessing of the Animals Service, we will offer (weather-pending):

Canadian Guide Dogs for The Blind “Man’s best friend”

Pet Valu (providing treats, essential items, safety practices and good nutritional information)

The Police Mounted Unit back by popular request
