The Drop-In celebrated Thanksgiving!
The kitchen was busy early in the day preparing a wonderful meal. It was enriched by the donation of enough ham to feed 90 people. The ham was from St. Lawrence Market donated by one of our volunteers who is also a parishioner.
The time, effort, and love that helped in creating this meal were felt by the guests.
Many thanked the Drop-In for a wonderful start to their Thanksgiving. They wished all the volunteers, staff, and friends a Happy Thanksgiving.
The guests thoroughly enjoyed the time they spent at St. James Drop-In.
We would like to thank all the volunteers and staff members that came in to help prepare, serve, and especially those who stayed to clean up after everyone had left full and content. Without you, this would not be possible.

Also, St. James Drop-In is honoured to be the recipient of the 3 plus bushels of fruit and vegetables that were donated from the Harvest Thanksgiving celebration.
The assorted fruits and vegetables will be integrated into the Drop-In meal this week, but the onions, squashes, pumpkins, garlic, and carrots will last for the next few weeks, allowing us to start the autumn with the ingredients to add warm, comforting soups to our menus.
We thank everyone who was involved in organizing and donating this wonderful bounty, especially Yosola Sholagbade-Adeoye and Ruth Davis.
The guests will appreciate the thoughtfulness.
