Our Master of Ceremonies is Sarah-Jayne Riley indie-pop musician.
Sarah Jayne Riley is a Canadian recording artist, songwriter, creative director, entrepreneur, and arts leader whose work spans music, film, branding, and community development. Known for combining compelling storytelling with innovative creative strategy, SJ has built a career around creating projects that challenge convention while fostering authentic human connection.
As a recording artist, she has released music under both her own name and her new project, Lotsy. Her latest creative chapter, Welcome to Lotsy Land, expands beyond music into an immersive artistic world exploring identity, belonging, self-expression, and the freedom that comes from embracing every part of yourself. The project is genre-fluid, supported by a distinctive visual identity and mythology designed to invite audiences into an experience rather than simply an album.
Throughout her career, SJ has collaborated with some of Canada’s most respected songwriters and producers, including Chantal Kreviazuk, Kayla Diamond, Maïa Davies, and David Mohacsi. Her music has earned opportunities to perform at festivals, conferences, and showcases across Canada and internationally, including the Cannes Film Festival, while continuing to build an engaged audience through immersive live performances and innovative digital storytelling.
SJ is also an active contributor to Ontario’s arts community. She serves as Co-Chair and Secretary of the Central Ontario Film Initiative, supporting the growth of the region’s film and creative industries through advocacy, collaboration, and community development.
Across every project, SJ’s work is driven by a belief that creativity has the power to transform not only careers but people. Whether through music, branding, live experiences, or community leadership, she continues to build spaces where authenticity, imagination, and human connection take centre stage.

About the St. James Cathedral Drop-In
Funds raised at this event will go toward supporting the St. James Cathedral Friday afternoon Drop-In program. Now in its 35th year, the Cathedral’s Friday afternoon program provides a safe and warm place for members of our community who are experiencing food insecurity to have a hot meal and socialize with friends. We serve over 7,000 meals each year. The Drop-In also subsidizes a FoodShare/Good Food Box program and, in association with other community partners, a much-needed Foot Care Clinic. Our Chiropodist completed more than 3,000 appointments last year alone.
