Palm Sunday Hot Cross Bun Fundraiser was a success!
On Palm Sunday, April 2 we sold bags of 3 buns for $5 after the 8:00am, the 9:00am, and the 11:00am services in the South West Porch and in Snell Hall.
A great big BUNch of thanks to all who participated in the Hot Cross Bun fundraiser this year. Thanks to all of our loyal customers!
We had 50 volunteers this year who made and sold 600 hundred buns which allows us to donate $1,638 to the foot care clinic of our SJC Drop-in centre. That’s a lot of happier feet walking around the cathedral neighbourhood!
This fundraiser is always a wonderful way to start the week in which we commemorate among many things, Jesus’ washing of his follower’s feet.
We were delighted to share the return of the Hot Cross Bun Fundraiser with so many new people.
Special thanks go to our sextons and Jim Kotsifas who gave us great support and to the 4 people under 20 years old who joined us on Saturday night!
