Godly Play for children at St. James Cathedral!

Children are full members of the household of God, and are welcome in every aspect of our common life, including at every service on Sundays.

On the first and third Sundays of every month, liturgy bags for busy hands, filled with books and materials for colouring, are available at the back.

Godly Play is a curriculum of religious education created to nurture the spirituality of children. Through stories from Scripture and lessons about the practices of the Church, children are invited to reflect on the presence of God in their lives and in the world in a playful, warm, and age-appropriate way. All children ages 3-11 are welcome!

At the 9:00am and 11:00am services, volunteers lead the children in Godly Play in St. George’s Chapel.
